Biographical Information: Mahendra Patel has dedicated more than 25 years to the lodging industry, and owns and operates four properties in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. A loyal member of CLIA, Mahendra was instrumental in bringing together the inaugural Western Lodging Show. Patel's Board interests include insurance and legislative issues, and creating greater awareness of CLIA programs and benefits among the Asian members of the lodging community. Mahendra has also served as a North Pacific Regional Director on the board of the AAHOA. A dedicated husband and father of two, he enjoys travel whenever business allows him get away.
