AFFORDABLE NEW DUES! Properties can now join CLIA for as little as $189 and a maximum of $489. Published on 7/22/10
July 13, 2010: The California Lodging Industry Association (CLIA) Board of Directors adopted a new dues structure to be effective immediately. For some lodging properties, the savings is more than 60%.
Properties can now join CLIA for as little as $189 and a maximum of $489.
"The lodging industry has suffered in this weakened economy and CLIA wanted to ease some of the financial constraints faced by hotel owners and operators," stated Howard Mathews, Chairman of the Board of Directors. "Our new dues structure is more competitive to reflect the market conditions and the association will continue to provide valuable programs and services to our members", he added.
Lodging Properties can take advantage of the deep discounts being offered by CLIA. The cost of joining can be offset by utilizing any one of the programs CLIA offers including: credit card processing, payroll services, insurance programs, legal help-line, legislative advocacy, and more.
Current CLIA members that renewed membership will get the difference credited for next year's dues.
The Board also voted to allow complimentary memberships for students, faculty and tourism groups.
